Format
Individual classes
Your learning needs and priorities will be fully considered by giving total flexibility with scheduling and choosing the pace of learning . Classes take place in the classroom of Step to Bulgaria or online.
Group classes
Group classes are meant to create an encouraging environment for each group member, involving them in speaking and listening. Classes take place in the classroom of Step to Bulgaria or online.
Method
The method has been designed to prepare learners for self-sufficient and successful living and working in Bulgaria. The focus is on developing communicative competencies with an emphasis on speaking and listening comprehension.
Curriculum
The curriculum is organized in modules corresponding to different levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1. Each module consists of 25 sixty-minute classes and up to 15 units. Each unit includes introduction of specific language competencies, grammar focus, practice section, extra materials for motivated learners and culture notes. The cultural notes provide information on the topic, presented in English, assisting in developing cultural awareness and strategies for cultural adaptation.
Upon request, Step to Bulgaria offers intensive everyday individual/group classes, or job-related language learning.
