Intensive Training during a Vacation - a Great Way to Learn and Have Fun

I’m Kira from Germany. Due to friends of mine I experienced Bulgaria as a wonderful country I want to know more about – and what is better than learning the language if one is interested in a country?

So this time, I decided to not just travel through Bulgaria but to part my holiday between taking lessons and doing nothing at all besides long walks, go thrifting, reading and eating.

When I came to Step to Bulgaria I already knew some Bulgarian but my mostly used expressions were „не зная“ or „не разбирам/не разбрах“ which means „I don’t know“ or „I don’t/didn’t understand“. After the short but really intensive training with Nadia I am able to understand daily conversations if the people talk slowly to me, I can go to the market to buy vegetables, I can order food when being in a restaurant and I will never get lost because I understand the directions.

The hardest word for me is to pronounce „I’m sorry“ the right way: съжалявам. It works best after two rakia, the famous Bulgarian spirit.

I highly recommend Nadia to all who want to learn the language either for work or for themselves. Nadia can easily motivate you to stick to the language through the lesson and to not give up if you are making mistakes or have trouble to understand something.
