On November 29 some students and friends of Step to Bulgaria gathered for the traditional monthly party. It was the last one for this year so we spent some time to talk about Christmas. In the pleasant and cozy atmosphere of La Casa Latina Restaurant we discussed the subtle differences in celebrating Christmas Eve, Christmas day and New Year in Bulgaria, learned some new words and phrases such as: коледно настроение, баница с късмети, варено жито, and most importantly, we had a great time together eating tasty food, drinking beer or Havana rum, and laughing and chatting. The usual good energy of the monthly meetings of Step to Bulgaria wаs in the air again!
